Oldest Furnace Contest
 |
Congratulations to Rob & Gretchen Johnson of Fort Wayne!!! |
|
Rob and Gretchen are the winners of "Doc" Dancer's 1st annual Oldest Furnace Contest.
Their furnace is a VERY OLD gravity furnace that was converted from coal to gas. We estimate it to be as old as their home, which was built in 1890. That means their furnace is 118 years old! Gretchen's
great grandparents bought the house in 1924 and the house has been in the family ever since.
The Johnsons are excited to have a new Rheem 90+ high efficient furnace installed by "Doc" Dancer so that they can start saving money on their gas bills. They had been considering a new furnace for some time, but just hadn't gotten around to it. Rob said winning a brand new high-efficient furnace "is a blessing!"
